Who we are
A small family homestead with a big, yet simple vision.
At our core, we are 'food people' who firmly believe that our health is our greatest wealth. I’ve had a lifelong passion for both animals and for helping people. Additionally, I have years of experience working on regenerative heritage farms, as well as studying the connection between human and animal health and our food system, as an Integrative Health Coach. My husband, Matt, has had a significant impact in the clean food industry, having run a national organic salad dressing company and staying at the forefront of clean food manufacturing. Together as parents we decided early on that our approach to living would focus around health and home-cooked, good food.
Together, we've always dreamed of a life where our children can grow up intimately connected to the land, the animals, and the natural rhythms of the earth. We envisioned a home where they would learn the value of hard work and dedication by helping raise animals and participating in the food production process.
In 2023, we turned that dream into reality, moving to a beautiful fourteen-acre property in Southern Maryland. By embracing a slower, more intentional lifestyle, we are guiding our children to understand the importance of nurturing God’s creatures, knowing where their food comes from, and developing a profound respect for the earth and its resources. Our goal is to equip them with the skills and mindset to live simply, thoughtfully, and sustainably.
